We updated our kennel!
Each of our dogs have their own individual space to call their own. We also have two separate whelping pens for when delivering new puppies! The crates and pens are cleaned multiple times a day. The floors are kept clean and dishes are washed in between uses. Keep reading to learn more about our facility!
A dog can't be happy or healthy without play and exercise. We let our furbabies get as much time out doors as possible. Our fenced in yards help keep the big dogs separated from the puppies when it comes time for play and potty training. When the summer sun comes we work hard to keep everyone cool and hydrated by putting up a large awning and refilling water dishes all throughout the day!
Before our puppies come, we can check up on them to make sure they are coming along well and we have an idea of how many to prepare for.
As soon as our puppies are born we ensure they are healthy and their mama is still doing well. After getting them cleaned up, we weigh each puppy, before handing them back to mama to feed and care for. Weighing each puppy weekly helps us to monitor their progression.
The winter can get way too cold, especially for fresh furbabies! Heating the facility is a must to keep our all dogs and puppies safe from the frigid temperatures.
We take pride in our facility, which is designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all. Our facility includes climate-controlled indoor spaces, using a portable air conditioner to cool inside the kennel when it gets too hot outside.
Pets can make quite the mess. If left unchecked, bacteria in a kennel will get out of hand fast. In a kennel it is important to keep, not only the surface areas clean, but the air needs to be filtered as well. In our facility we use an industrial air purifier so these furbabies are breathing in quality air.
Dogs need their own creature comforts. In each kennel our Royal Boston Terriers get their own toys, pads, food, and water.
Unfortunately, we can't spend 24/7 in the kennel with these loveable canines. So, when we're away, we can keep an eye on them using the camera's we have set up all around our facility.
Every dog is different so each of ours has their own combination of vitamins and supplements that they receive regularly.
Dogs need constant bathing. Whether it's from rolling in the dirt or the mess that comes with giving birth, our little rascals are always in need of another bath.
Sometimes the best care just isn't enough to ensure that every puppy will be born healthy. That's why we have a puppy incubator to keep them warm while we are nursing them back to health.
Our incubator is big enough for multiple puppies. Sometimes having a companion can make all the difference when trying to get better.
In order to make a clean, healthy, and happy kennel we need a lot of supplies. We use our new workstation to store cleaning supplies, extra toys and blankets, vitamins, and more. The countertop gives us a place to weigh newborns and measure food. When you pick up your new best friend, we will fill out the paperwork and go over it with you here!
